Decisions, decisions!!!

well ladies i have been having a ball checking out lots of different paper ranges and fun goodies for us to play with at our scrap frenzy weekend....oh man there is soooooooo much nice stuff out there...yummy yummy goodies galore...i have made my choices so if stock remains available we will be all set for a scrapolicious weekend for sure!!!

after a discussion with some of the girls yesterday we decided to make our weekend a PYJAMA weekend...i mean why not when we usually end up in them most of the day anyway??? so we will have some fun with it ...i'll keep you posted about that closer to the time but in the mean time girls fish out all those cute PJ's ....hehehehehe....

i will also be sending out an email soon with a few quick questions on it about yourself......please fill it out and send it back with a photo to go on the blog....over the next few weeks i will introduce each of you by adding your pic and answers to the blog....make sure you check out each others answers.....those answers will come in very handy at the retreat...and they are worth some awesome prizes...how well will you get to know your fellows retreaters?????

we are currently working on the menu so if you have any dietary concerns that you think our gorgeous chefs should know about please just drop me an email and let me know....even if it is just that you HATE mushrooms...you can tell us we don't mind!! hahahaha.....

I am SO EXCITED

to finally announce that our gorgeous Irish rose ( oh aren't i soppy tonight....hehehehe) Krissy will be flying her cute little self down here to join in all the fun of the scrap frenzy retreat!!! i am so honoured and very excited that krissy is coming down for our retreat and that we will all get to finally meet her in person...krissy is a constant source of inspiration to me and so many others .......not to mention one of my gorgeous DT's and an extremely important and valued friend...we are in for a FANTASTIC weekend girls..don't worry krissy i am stocking up on the red frogs already...hehehehe.... i just can't wait!!!!! happy dance time now...woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just a reminder!!

just a little reminder girls that all deposits for the retreat need to be in by the end of the month to secure your spot....anyone who hasn't paid at least a $50 deposit by then i will assume is not attending and i will fill the spot.....i don't mean to sound harsh but i am in the planning stages and confirmed numbers are becoming very important now....having said that........

i am planning and plotting girls and let me tell you we are in for an absolutely AWESOME weekend of scrapping!!!!! you don't want to miss this opportunity...there are at this stage a couple of spots left so ask your friends to join you for a fun scrappy weekend but please be quick cause it is filling up fast!!

woohoo we are on our way girls......after lots of discussion yesterday we have put together a jammed pack retreat package full of fun and scrapping madness...so check it out!

WHAT: SCRAP FRENZY RETREAT
WHEN: FRIDAY MARCH 26TH- SUNDAY MARCH 28TH
DESTINATION: ABERGLASSLYN

this retreat is a jam packed speed scrapping weekend...yep thats right we are going to speed scrap our way through the weekend.no procrastinating around here girls......our goal is to learn to use our stash more effectively making the most of everything in it while creating 20 pages....how awesome will that be to get 20 pages done.......i can't wait!!!!

the cost for the full weekend is $200 that includes all meals (except dinner friday night..we will be going out to dinner to kick start our weekend) morning and afternoon teas, soft drinks, nibblies and the scrap pack from HELL!!! hehehehe....

the scrap pack will contain an album, bazzill, papers, embellishments and alphas to complete your gorgeous pages...it will also contain a mixture of page instructions, sketches with examples and challenges to guide you through the weekend to reach your goal of 20 pages....i of course will be there to help you through it all as well.....

peta from "scrapbooking from scratch" will have a shop set up for us with loads of gorgeous goodies to choose from so you can even go shopping and add more to your stash should you feel the NEED!!! hehehehe...and speaking from experience there will be lots to tempt you so i am sure you will need to bring some spending money with you....hehehehe.....

i will need a deposit of $50 by the end of october to secure your spot and all retreaters need to be paid up in full by the end of january.....i am happy for you to pay off the weekend in instalments so just contact me to book in and for banking details.....i am extremely happy to say that there are only 3 full weekend spots left at this stage so please be quick to book in if you are wanting to join us...believe me you will have an awesome weekend to remember!!

and we begin

yep thats right i am working things out for us already....this time i am planning a speed scrapping retreat with loads of goodies for us to create....wait for it....20!!!yep i said 20 pages over the weekend....no procrastinating aloud here girls!!! hahahahaha.....

you will have a gorgeous pack of goodies with page instructions , sketches and challenges to help you create those 20 pages .... there will be a small prize for all those people who do get their 20 finished and another prize ( a bit bigger..hehehehe) for the person who completes the most pages over the weekend....don't worry you will still have plenty of free time to do your own thing as well....the idea of the weekend is for me to show you how to make the most out of your stash..making it go as far as possible as well as making it so much fun!!....

i am currently working out costing and exact dates etc so i will post it all here for you very very soon!..this really is going to be so much fun girls....i hope you can all make it!!

what a weekend!!!!!

wow what a weekend we had....first i want to thank all those who attended for your wonderful company and friendship....i had an awesome weekend and i hope you all did too!..... we didn't take a lot of photos of us mad scrappers...bloody idiot i am......but we were too busy scrapping to think of it...i did take this gorgeous shot of sandy with her lovely lollie teeth and of course her photo of jon to keep her inspired!! that would do it for me!! hahahaha...not only did we scrap like we were possessed..the girls got heaps done......we ate pretty well too and the time clock just didn't exsist.....things like yummo ice cream from baskin and robbins courtesy of the gorgeous michelle and then what about fresh home made waffles to go with them made by penny.......sound yummo!!! let me tell you it was....even if it was 1.30 am ......hahahahaha...like i said we just didn't notice time at all.....michelle and i went to bed at 3am both mornings with all the girls not much before us...who needed sleep...we were scrapping!!!!! oh and who could forget the absolutely yummo scones with jam and cream made fresh sunday morning by the wonderful penny again!!mmmmm my mouth is watering just thinking about it all......mmmmmmm......i am doing a total homer right now!!

here are all the different classes i taught for the girls over the weekend.....this one was friday night.....using the gorgeous country grove papers from kaiser and the two step dragonfly stamp from kaszazz....i really love the end result with this one....this photo doesn't really show off the colours very well so you'll have to take my word for it...the colours are just beautiful.....

on saturday morning we created gorgeous kaiser clocks using "esperance" or "blushed" papers...this is the one i did with the esperance range using photos from our trip to crescent head this january......

this simply gorgeous clock was created by Trish using the "blushed "papers....it is simply stunning..she used the papers so well.....trish used some beautiful family pics for her creation!
great use of thickers for the numbers as well..they look awesome!

for sunday morning the girls had the choice of a girls or a boy pack both of which were 3 bugs papers...just gorgeous!.....here are my pages using the "snips and snails" range...these pages were inspired by miss Krissy..thanks for the kick in the right direction krissy...i needed it!!! i still haven't taken photos of the girls pages that i did but i will post them soon for you....

wasn't my little man just a cute bubba!!! for sunday afternoon i went bold using the kaiser "allsorts" range the left hand page is a featured layout from kaiser ...the right hand page i created myself to go with it...i wanted it to go with it but not over crowd it...... the plans are already under way for our next retreat ...next time a little later in the year but bigger and better i promise...i am already working on a gorgeous venue for our winter wonderland retreat!!! so keep a look out for more details soon!!!
